Nowadays it’s very hard to go outside, especially going to the market or store just to buy the family’s needs. For the last few months the city you live was covid free, and that made the citizens calm and lived a life that was somehow worry-free. Yet as days passed by, and people became more ignorant of the situation, it came to a point now, that the city that was once safe before became a place of terror.
Everyday there’s a new covid case. Everyday is a day that is hard to face, going to work, and making yourself safe from the virus. Everyday is like a battle with an invisible opponent. It’s like walking in the dark without any light to hold on. Our safety is like a guessing game, it’s unsure.
Some people seem not to care. They do what they want despite of the fact that the person who is positive from covid-19 is just a few blocks away. Whenever the medical team fetch the patient from a local area, people would go out the streets, clustered, and gossip. Do they know the risk they are taking? How sad that we became more dumb than we already are, especially these days as we face this pandemic.
So please, let us be more mindful of our actions, practice proper hygiene and be cooperative. Let us be prayerful, it is the most powerful shield we have against covid-19. Lets protect one another rather than taking advantage or discriminate one another.
