Yester night

Gloomy Moonlight

Yester night I was quite down in sorrow,
this pandemic creeped back in my head,
broken I was, eyes on my son,
he was peacefully asleep,
I almost cried lookin’
asked God, until when?
don’t let it be,
half the world
dying
more.
Death
horror
everywhere,
shattered broken
the soul, heart, and mind
crumbled to eensy bits
a test, conundrum today
prayer is all I have, trust Him
asked him, to you God this is easy
end this pandemic, to you all I beg.
